In recognition of International Men’s Day and its 2025 theme, Supporting Men and Boys, Grapevine Group - Mackay, Isaac and Whitsunday regions suicide prevention is hosting a free safeTALK suicide prevention training session at council's Dudley Denny City Library.
The safeTALK training offers practical tools where participants will learn how to recognise when someone may be at risk of suicide, how to talk to those experiencing suicidal thoughts, and how to guide them to appropriate support services.
When: Saturday, November 15.

safeTALK is open to anyone aged 15 years and older and requires no prior experience.
