On the 20th of November Mount Isa will hold the first International Men's Day Awards Dinner to recognise the amazing male role models we have with in our community.
The evening will be a casual affair for our local men to be comfortable & enjoy them selves. Food to be served from food trucks for attendees to help them selves. Full bar facilities available on the night.
Guest speakers for the night include AFL legend Peter 'Spida" Everitt & Wellness professional Nick Southerland.
The entertainment for the evening will feature the Mount Isa Show Demolition Derby.
About the Awards
There will be three award categories on the night
1) 2021 Mount Isa Man of achievement- open to all ages, nominee demonstrates strong leadership & is a positive role model with the design, implementation or promotion of a project that helps the Mount Isa community, local sporting groups, schools/charities/non-for-profit groups, events, organisations/workplaces, or families either a paid or unpaid volunteer role.
2) 2021 Mount Isa Local Hero- open to all ages, for those who demonstrate strong leadership and is a positive role model for the Mount Isa community through volunteer unpaid work.
3) 2021 Mount Isa Youth leader - open to ages 18 and under, nominee who demonstrates strong leadership and is a positive role model to their own peer group & others

Tickets for the event will be for sale at Matter Property 3 Miles St on November 2, $95 per ticket, Limited tickets available. Ticket price includes all food. Full bar facilities will be available on the night.
