The theme for International Men’s Day 2022 is “Celebrating Mateship” and the aim is to inspire more men to #MakeTime4Mates. Mateship is a key feature of Australian national identity and has a particular association with close male friendships. What better way to celebrate the day with your mates then coming along to a Mr Perfect BBQ?

We will be having some special guests from local Newcastle men’s projects to tell you about other activities for men in the Hunter.

Mr Perfect provides FREE BBQs in Newcastle on the third Sunday of every month from 11.30 am – 1.30 pm.

The format is simple, informal, and completely inclusive. It’s a chance to get out of the house, socialise, meet some great people and form a supportive community.

It would be great if you can let us know you are coming along, for catering, but if not feel free to just turn up on the day and say hello.
