How will you get involved in International Men’s Day 2025?
It’s International Men’s Day on Wednesday 19th November, which is a great opportunity to take part in a global conversation about manhood, masculinity and men's issues.
How can you be involved in:
- Highlighting some of the social issues that men and boys face
- Making a difference for the men and boys in your community
- Celebrating men and boys in all their diversity
This year’s theme for International Men's Day in Australia is “Supporting Men and Boys”. If you want to get involved and show your support for men and boys in Australia and around the world, here are five ways you can take part.
Attend a local event
We have listed more than 70 events around Australia that are open to the public in our events section. Many more events will be taking place in workplaces and community settings and aren’t listed. Do your best to support the International Men’s Day events near you and if you can’t find a local event, maybe consider making one happen next year!
Register for our online events
This year the Australian Men’s Health Forum is hosting a series of workplace webinars the day before and on International men’s Day titled Men, Inclusion and the Workplace. These webinars coincide with Inclusion at Work Week and will be of particular interest to people with responsibility for workplace health and wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and broader HR matters.
If these webinars are relevant to your work, you can register to attend one or more of the six sessions on a range of topics.

Support our online campaign
In line with the theme “Supporting Men and Boys”, we are highlighting 100+ groups around Australia doing great work to support men and boys. In the run up to International Men's Day (IMD) and throughout November, you’ll see us giving shout outs on our Facebook page. Please get involved by sharing and liking some of these posts and help us raise the profile of people “Supporting Men and Boys” by promoting your own favourite men’s projects on or around International Men’s Day.

Make you own social media tiles
You can also share your own message promoting International Men’s Day and the “Supporting Men and Boys” theme by downloading this year’s Social Media Graphics from the International Men’s Day website. Some of the graphics are editable so you can add your own positive message of support for the day if you want to.

Help fund men's health
Finally, you could consider make a small (or large) donation to a your favourite group that's "Supporting Men and Boys". For example, you can support our work by making a donation via the International Men's Day website.
However you choose to support International Men’s Day this year on Wednesday 19th November, we hope you have a great day.
