International Men’s Day gives our community the opportunity to work together towards the day’s six key objectives, which apply equally to all males irrespective of their age, ability, social background, legal status, race, beliefs, sexual orientation or gender identity.

These are:

• Valuing male role models
• Acknowledging the contribution of men and boys
• Improving male health
• Tackling discrimination and disadvantage
• Fostering positive gender relations
• Making the world a safer place for everyone

To celebrate we are holding a FREE community breakfast in Goyder Square. Swing by before work to grab a bacon and egg roll. Danila Dilba will be offering basic men's health check-up’s while you wait. There will also be a range of stalls promoting services and programs designed specifically for men.
