Across our industry, every generation plays a part in shaping the future of civil construction. From early-career entrants to seasoned leaders, each person brings valuable experience, perspective, and purpose.
This year’s International Men’s Day event—Generations in Civil: Shaping Tomorrow, Together—is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and recognise the people who help build our industry’s strength across generations.
Our keynote speaker, Alex Rance, will explore the importance of individual identity and belonging, showing how every team, whether its family, workplace, sporting club, or community, thrives when people understand who they are and the value they bring.
Following his keynote, Alex will host a panel discussion featuring Whelans’ Group, Tim and Charlie Whelan, and Contek Constructions’ Simon and Adrian Fuller (former Ken Edgley Award winner), who will share their stories will highlight the values, challenges, and opportunities that come from learning across generations and leading with purpose.
